domestic tourism, the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the
Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, supported the ā€œGet
Ready, Engage and Embrace the New Normalā€ GREEN Corridor Initiative

calibrated tourism circuit validation on December 6-7, 2021. The
activity serves as preparation to the launching of the GCI project on
December 18, 2021 and implementation of the travel corridors linking
local tourism destinations.

Spearheaded by the Department of Tourism Region IV-A, travel agents,
tour operators, and government agencies such as the Department of
Health, the Philippine Information Agency, the Tourism Promotions Board
as well as the local tourism officers of Alfonso, Maragondon, Silang,

readiness of the destinations in terms of the implementation of health
and safety protocols.
