As the dark clouds loomed over Gen. Mariano Alvarez, the spirit of compassion and service prevailed as the provincial government of Cavite’s medical mission team led a health outreach event, bringing hope and healing to around 300 residents of Barangay Lumbreras on August 2, 2023.
A covered court’s spacious grounds served as the venue for the medical mission, providing enough space for the team to work efficiently while adhering to necessary safety protocols.
Medical professionals from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer offered a wide range of healthcare services, including general consultations, basic medical check-ups and vital sign monitoring. In addition, they provided counseling on preventive healthcare practices, sanitation, and nutrition, while other members of the team distributed essential medicines and supplements.
