The mega job fair caravan dubbed as “Trabaho sa Kabataang Kabitenyo” once again rolled, this time in Tagaytay City on August 9, 2023, organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Governor-Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPG-OPPESM) and City Government of Tagaytay, with the aim of providing employment opportunities to Caviteños.
Around 40 companies and industries accommodated hundreds of job seekers from the city and nearby municipalities wherein 32 applicants were hired on-the-spot.
Representatives from various national agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), PhilHealth, Philippine Statistics Authority, TESDA, and Pag-ibig were available to aid applicants in fulfilling the necessary employment requirements.
Beyond the stacks of resumes and job application forms, the mega job fair encouraged interpersonal connections between job seekers and employers. The settings allowed job seekers to interact with company representatives, learn about organizational cultures, and gain insights into the specific skills and qualities these companies were seeking.
