On February 9, 2019, the provincial government of Cavite once again donated additional sets of CCTVs, handheld radios and barangay tanod kits to the cities of Dasmariñas and Bacoor. During the simple turnover rites led by Governor Jonvic Remulla each barangay captain received three (3) sets of CCTV, ten (10) units of handheld radios and five (5) kits for tanod containing vest and policeman’s club. The distribution of equipment is consistent with Governor Boying Remulla’s thrust as Chairperson of the CALABARZON Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) to heighten security measures in order to achieve a safer and a more livable community. Other guests who joined the 75 barangay captains of Dasmariñas City and 73 of Bacoor City were Mayor Lani Mercado, Board Members Aba Gawaran and Rey Fabian, reminding the local leaders to handle the equipment properly and maximize its use to better serve constituents.
