Cabinet Secretary Karlo B. Nograles graced the Cavite Day on March 22, 2019 at the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit with the celebration of President Emilio Aguinaldoās 150th Birth Anniversary. Governor Boying Remulla, Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, OIC-Provincial Tourism Officer Rozelle Sangalang and other local officials welcomed Secretary Nograles to the historical event; while National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairman Rene Escalante joined the secretary during the wreath-laying rites to honor the life and legacy of the Father of the Philippine Independence. Meanwhile, Philippine Postal Corporation President Norman Fulgencio led the awarding of the Aguinaldo Commemorative Coin and Stamp to Secretary Nograles who delivered the keynote speech on behalf of President Rodrigo Duterte. Other guests who paid respects and expressed their support to Caviteās historical and cultural preservation were NHCP Executive Director Ludovico Badoy, 1st District Representative Francis Abaya, Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo, Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla, as well as, some officials and employees of other national and local agencies.
