Cavite Provincial Health Office spearheaded World AIDS Day 2021 celebration with this year’s theme “End Inequalities. End AIDS” focusing on reaching people left behind in terms of access to essential HIV services on December 1, 2021 at the Cavite Collaboration Center for Public Health Building, Trece Martires City. HIV – AIDS Core Team (HACT Team) conducted lectures on various topics which include Positive Living for PLHIV, HIV Treatment Adherence, HIV 101, and All About Pre- Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). Learning group session was also facilitated. Attendees were able to underwent HIV counselling and screening. Board Member Kerby Salazar, Chairperson on Committee on Health, Nutrition and Population was present and expressed his support in confronting the inequalities which PLHIV are experiencing that makes their life more challenging.
