CAVITE PPMES ON EFFECTIVE MONITORING OF GOVERNMENT PROJECTS

Members of the PROVINCIAL PROJECT MONITORING AND EVALUATION SYSTEM (PPMES) of the Provincial Government of Cavite visited the municipality of Alfonso on March 2, 2018 for project inspection and evaluation. Among the projects that were monitored are the completed P13M-worth concreted roads in Kaytitinga Junction, Sitio Pilipit, Baliuag Road, a soon-to-rise three-storey-thirty-classroom building with roof deck in PUP-Alfonso, and the on-going construction of a two-storey-six classroom building at Pajo Elementary School. Planning Officer Jesus Barrera and DILG Provincial Director Allan Benitez guided the PPMES team during the first official project inspection of the provincial government’s infrastructure projects. Engr. Enrico Alvarez is currently the chairperson of Provincial Project Monitoring Committee. Project inspection is important to ensure that the undertakings were properly implemented, the visibility of the target dates of accomplishment were met, keep track of the improvements of the project and respond to the unexpected problems that arise during the implementation process.
