CAVITE WELCOMES PHILIPPINE MOTORCYCLE TOURISM

In its commitment to further promote tourism destinations, the
Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Provincial Tourism and
Cultural Affairs Office, welcomed the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and
members of the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) headed by former
Senator JV Ejercito on November 21, 2021 during the PMT Ride and Tours.

On behalf of Governor Juanito Victor C. Remulla, Provincial Tourism
Officer Rozelle S. Sangalang together with Mayor Reynaldo A. Rillo,
warmly greeted 125 riders of PMT in Maragondon, and prepared some
refreshments and giveaways for the participants in the Cavite Leg Tour.
Meanwhile, Likhang Maragondon Native Products and Pasalubong Center led
the exhibit of local products, offering a unique experience on the
town’s rich culture and tradition.

Likewise, La Bella Tagaytay became one of the official stopovers for the
road trip adventure of the Department of Tourism, PMT, and TPB, wherein
riders enjoyed the cool breeze and panoramic scenery of the city.

The event is one of the creative strategies to set the tourism industry
in its path to recovery as travel restrictions eases. The TPB and PMT,
along with the DOT CALABARZON, are geared towards helping domestic
tourism bounce back by supporting local businesses and showcasing
culture and heritage sites, shops, restaurants, and other tourism
products that tourists can discover themselves on two wheels.
