COMMITMENT TO SERVE THE LESS PRIVILEGED CONSTITUENTS OF DASMARINAS

True to its commitment in serving the less privileged Cavitenos, Governor Boying Remulla, thru the Office of the Provincial Governor-Extension and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) joined hands to positively conduct a free medical and dental mission at Hesus Nazareno Parish Church in Luzviminda II, City of Dasmarinas on February 13-14, 2018. During the two-day activity, a total of 1,818 patients were treated with free checkups and consultations, as well as free tooth extraction rendered by volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses and technical staff from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) and CarSiGMA District Hospital. Rev. Father Teofilo Perey expressed their appreciation to the Medical and Dental Mission Team for bringing the healthcare services to their community and helping the people who truly needs medical attention but cannot afford the expensive consultations in private clinics. Free vitamins and medicines were also distributed during the mission. Female patients especially mothers were given orientations and advise on family planning and proper birth spacing by the employees from the Cavite Population Office. Meanwhile, the Dasmarinas, MJF Lions Club has donated a total of 700 prescription eye glasses for the senior citizens and adults to correct their personal vision problem. The activity was also the 17th annual medical mission of the Dasmarinas, MJF Lions Club. In behalf of all the members and officers of Dasmarinas, MJF Lions Club, President Perry Ladao reiterated their endless gratitude to the governor for making the event possible and thanked the people who have exerted extra effort in order to accomplish their goal in helping their fellow Cavitenos. Also present who supported the mission were 4th District Board Member Valeriano Encabo, officers of Dasmarinas, MJF Lions Club which include Dave Flores, IPPresident; Arem Alvaran, Secretary; Pampi Magsino, Treasurer; Gil Sergio, First Vice President; Young Hyun Cho, Second Vice President; Dani Enicame, Third Vice President; Greg Romen, Auditor; Arnel Palaya, Tamer; Billy Aguinaldo, Twister; together with Directors Gilbert Mendoza, Ermin Beltran, Nestor Sapida, Gerald Garcia, and Rey Estocado. Barangay health workers, members of the pastoral community and the employees from the provincial government were also in attendance to support the activity.
