A healthy community with active and vigorous residents will eventually be achieved by conducting continuous health care services for the people. Recently, Cavite Councilor’s League President Kerby Salazar and JCI Gentrias Katipunan 2017 President Kyle Salazar led again the conduct of free medical and dental mission for their constituents in Bella Vita Market , Barangay Tapia in the City of General Trias on January 25, 2018. In behalf of Congressman Jonjon Ferrer, Mayor Ony Ferrer, Vice Mayor Morit Sison and members of the Team Gentri, BM Salazar expressed his gratitude to the Office of the Governor thru the OPG-Extension with the support from volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses and technical staff from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, dentists from the City Health Office of Gentrias and dentists and employees from the Phil. Naval Installation Command who have extended extra effort to give quality health care services to the residents of Gentrias. A total of 384 patients were served with free check-ups, consultations and tooth extraction. Free vitamins and medicines were also provided to their constituents. Meanwhile, employees of the Cavite Population Office were also present to communicate with mothers to educate them on the proper spacing of pregnancies and birth control. Also in attendance were Barangay Captain Dominic Glorioso, barangay councils of Tapia, barangay health workers, members of KABALIKAT (Balikatan Monitoring Group, People’s Alliance) , and employees of the local and provincial government.
