On July 21, 2022, the Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Office of the Governor–Extension rendered free circumcision to 17 young males in Brgy. Buna Lejos, Indang, Cavite through the Operation Tuli program.
Beneficiaries aged 10-14 years old, stepped up and surpassed the procedure and pain of circumcision after undergoing screening and antigen swab testing performed by the team from the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit.
The operation was rendered by medical professionals from the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Kevin Roderno as the lead surgeon together with the staff from the OPG – Extension. They were assisted by the barangay health workers of Buna Lejos alongside Barangay Captain Elmer Torres who expressed their gratitude to the PGC for the successful operation.
