On December 12, 2023, the provincial government of Cavite, through the office of the Provincial Governor-Extension and Office of the Provincial Health Officer, conducted a successful health outreach program in Brgy. Poblacion 1, Alfonso, Cavite.
A total of 183 patients benefitted, with 161 receiving medical consultations and 32 undergoing dental extractions. The General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital medical and dental team, played a crucial role, guided by the Pamaskong Handog theme, “Kalusugan ay Kayamanan, Ating Pag-ingatan”.
The mission’s success was attributed to collaborative efforts between local leaders and health professionals, exemplifying the provincial government’s commitment to grassroots healthcare. The team distributed medical prescriptions, multivitamins, supplements, and mosquito-repellent lotion, contributing to community health and preventive care. This initiative not only addressed immediate health concerns but also fostered a culture of health-conscious living, highlighting the effectiveness of community-driven healthcare efforts.
