The Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) ā Entrepreneurial Division in partnership with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ā Cavite, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ā Cavite and Cavite Young Leaders for Entrepreneurship Inc. (CYLE) spearheaded a Prejudging: One-on-one Presentation of Technopreneurs on November 15, 2022 at the Ceremonial Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, Trece Martires City.

This program focused on technology and innovation. A total of 52 attendees joined in to witness the presentation of students from eight (8) participating schools in the province of Cavite who took part in the Search for the Most Innovative Technology Ideas.

Ms. Liza C. Gabatan, head of the Entrepreneurial Division, opened the program with a warm welcome. She then hoped that the aforementioned activity would serve as an avenue for students to reach their full potential and unleash their creativity and skills. Furthermore, she congratulated all of the participants, stating that they are all winners in their eyes because of their efforts in preparing for the event.
Ms. Gabatan also thanked everyone who came to support and make the event successful. They hoped that this would be another significant event in the advancement and promotion of entrepreneurship in the province.

On behalf of Ms. Revelyn A Cortez, Provincial Director of DTI-Cavite, Ms. Julie Salvacion of DTI-Cavite Business Development Division stated that the students and future entrepreneurs were fortunate to be present at the event and present their business ideas, which she hopes will continue in the future. She also mentioned their Be Your Own Boss activity at DTI-Cavite that will be held the following week, which could possibly help the students with their concept. Ms. Salvacion then added that PCLEDO, DOST-Cavite, and DTI-Cavite will continue to help MSMEs and potential MSMEs.
Ms. Annalyn S. Hernandez, PCLEDO’s Development Management Officer II, afterward introduced the panel of judges, which include Dr. Zandro Catacutan, Assistant Professor at Cavite State University-Main Campus, Dr. Edwin Lineses, Associate Professor at De La Salle University-DasmariƱas, and Mr. Marlo Carag, Intellectual Property Rights Specialist IV of The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. The panelists not only critiqued and assessed the presentation, but also offered suggestions and recommendations to the students for improving their innovative technology ideas.
The students were given 15 minutes to present their ideas, while the panelists were given 15 minutes to assess the presented concepts.
The students from Philippine Christian University-DasmariƱas presented Elysian Organic Products followed by Chaesoyaki Cheese Balls of the Ā students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Maragondon. Then, STI College-Rosario students showed their Print Tab concept followed by the Toket bag entry of the students from ISHRM School System. The Speed Communication for Operational Protection Equipment (SCOPE) ideas was prepared by the students of Samuel Christian College of General Trias Inc. Next was the Project CATE introduced by the students from Far Eastern University-Cavite, then, the Tumb O’clock idea of the students from Cavite State University-General Trias City Campus, and Coaternate Soap presented by the student from Cavite State University-Imus City Campus.
Following the presentation, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the panelists.
In closing,Ā everyone was reminded that the winners will be announced on November 22, 2022 at the Cavite Entrepreneurship Students Conference.
