The Cavite provincial government’s medical and dental mission conducted in Brgy. Tejero, General Trias City, Cavite on February 22, 2024 was a resounding success, benefitting a total of 449 patients. Of these, 403 received medical check-ups while 46 underwent dental examinations and tooth extractions, addressing both medical and dental needs within the community. Additionally, maintenance medicines, multivitamins and mosquito repellent lotion were also distributed.
This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the local government, medical practitioners, barangay health workers, staff and volunteers, all of whom worked tirelessly to ensure the mission’s success. Beyond providing essential healthcare services, the event showcased a sense of community and solidarity, under the importance of collective action in promoting health and well-being.
