PROVIDING DECENT JOBS FOR CAVITEÑOS

A total of 1,125 applicants flocked at Bulihan Covered Court in the municipality of Silang on July 10, 2018 to pursue a career and partake in the conduct of Cavite Job Caravan which was facilitated by Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Carmona led by Mr. Edwin Tolentino, in partnership with the provincial PESO with its head, Dr Eva. Defiesta. Perceptive of how they can contribute to fortify the programs dedicated for the job seekers, PESO continued its undertaking in finding all techniques and procedures in order to aid in determining a decent occupation which will match with the applicants’ credentials and experiences. Carmona Mayor Dahlia Loyola, together with 5th District Representative Roy Loyola voiced out their support for the aspiring candidates who were interviewed on the spot by the 45 participating companies and organizations to identify their skills and capabilities. They have affirmed their commitment to create programs that will be advantageous to the public. They also encouraged the job seekers to positively take the comments of the evaluators and practice the value of patience and perseverance in order to get a job. Present during the Job Caravan to confirm their willingness to support the program were 5th District Board Members Ivee Jayne Reyes and Marcos Amutan , Barangay Chairman Junmar Talatala , representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and other PESO Managers from different municipalities and cities in the province.
