RELIEF DISTRIBUTION FOR THE FISHING COMMUNITIES

To immediately respond on the basic needs of his constituents, Governor Boying Remulla compassionately visited the fishing communities of the municipalities of Tanza, Naic and Kawit to distribute rice for the poor families of the neighborhoods who were not able to go fishing due to heavy rains because of typhoon Domeng recently. Governor Remulla together with other local officials have distributed rice to 3,000 recipients from Julugan 5 and 2,000 residents in Amaya 7, both in the municipality of Tanza on June 15, 2018. Two thousand five hundred locals in Barangay Munting Mapino in the municipality of Naic have also been allocated rice for their consumption while three thousand people in Barangay Samala Marquez received the rice subsidy.Ā  Also present who supported the event were 6th District Board Member Munding Del Rosario, 1st District Board Member Gilbert Gandia , Tanza Mayor Yuri Pacumio, Naic Mayor Junio Dualan, Kawit Vice Mayor Arman Bernal, Municipal councilors and barangay captains from the three recipient municipalities, Police Supt. Janet Arinoba and the whole workforce of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Felipa ServaƱez.Ā  Some employees from the provincial government also helped the members of the PSWDO in the distribution proper. Governor Remulla’s sons, Indang Councilor Ping Remulla and Abeng Remulla were also present to assist in the distribution, together with the governor’s granddaughter, Dia Remulla. He reiterated that the rice subsidy that were given to the public did not come from him but from the tax of the people .
