SENDING HELP FOR THE INDIGENT MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY

Governor Boying Remulla closely monitored the welfare of his constituents and quickly sent assistance to the fishing communities of the province who were affected by typhoon Ompong. He particularly visited the citizens of Cavite City and distributed rice and relief goods to 6,000 residents as he checked the condition in the locality on September 17, 2018. The distribution which was held at Barangay Dalahican and benefitted eight barangays was part of the welfare programs of the provincial government thru the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Felipa ServaƱez. Local officials, including Mayor Totie Paredes, Vice Mayor Denver Chua, and the members of the city councils conveyed their appreciation to Governor Remulla for swiftly responding on the needs of the poor families who were not able to go fishing due to heavy rains and strong winds recently. Also present during the distribution of rice subsidy were Vice Governor Jolo Revilla and Indang Councilor Ping Remulla. Some employees from the provincial government also assisted the members of the PSWDO in the distribution proper.
