In its effort to show compassion and concern to the special children who needed medical and dental services, the provincial government of Cavite led by Governor Boying Remulla thru the collaboration of the OPG-Extension and the Provincial Health Office rendered free checkups and dental services to the children and employees of the Chosen Children Village in Barangay Lalaan 2, Silang on May 15, 2018. Ms. Marilyn Naval, Executive Director of the Chosen Children Village echoed their gratefulness to the provincial government for bringing healthcare services to their village. Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) under its head, Ms. Felipa Servañez who requested the event were also present to assist other volunteers including doctors, dentists, nurses and technical staff from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital. Children were also given free tooth extraction and oral prophylaxis. Free vitamins and medicines were allocated to them by the provincial government which will be distributed by their resident physician, Dr. Erbito Asinas.
