To continuously ensure the wellbeing of Gentriseños, the Provincial Government of Cavite’s medical mission team, in coordination with 6th District Board Member Morit Sison, drove to Le Rica Subdivision at Brgy. San Francisco on March 7, 2023.
Cavite PHO medical professionals, with Dr. Mary Jane Baculi and Dr. Promise Joy Trio as lead doctors, attended to the basic medical needs of two hundred nineteen (219) locals and advised the patients with the proper health care. During the course of activity, Dr. Baculi and Dr. Tio also gave immediate care to a child who was pierced by a stick on his leg. He was provided with anti-tetanus shot after cleaning his wound.
After the consultations, the residents received free prescribed medicine and vitamin supplements handed by the OPG-Extension staff.
In attendance during the health outreach program were Councilor Walter Martinez, Barangay Health Workers of Sitio Elang, and Homeowner Association of Brgy. San Francisco who gladly welcomed and assisted the medical mission team.
