ISO 9001:2015 is a set of standards and requirements for the development of a quality management system commonly applied by private corporations and organizations to help ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are adequately and consistently met. These standards also enable organizations to develop mechanisms for continual improvement of products and services.
Being the first Provincial Government in the Philippines that was certified against ISO Standards, our Top Management, together with thousands of employees, work unswervingly to implement an effective Quality Management System by promoting efficient management operations, setting out areas of responsibilities, and delivering public service with honesty, transparency, and accountability so that we may continue to live up to our promise as a truly first-class and world-class province.
PGC ISO Journey
- PGC started its quest for ISO Certification in January 2012.
- PGC’s QMS was audited and recommended for certification by AJA Registrars Inc.
- PGC became ISO 9001:2008 Certified on May 3, 2012.
- PGC’s QMS expanded its scope in December 2013.
- PGC’s QMS was re-certified on May 3, 2015.
- GC’s QMS became ISO 9001:2015 Certified on May 3, 2017.
