The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Felipa Servañez in cooperation with the Federation of Senior Citizen Association of Cavite hosted a Christmas Party attended by a total of 635 senior citizens on December 19, 2017 at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City. Mr. Alvin Mojica, PCLEDO Head and PSWDO Consultant, assured the elderlies that Governor Boying Remulla and the rest of the provincial officials will start early in the preparation and approval of the programs and projects for the welfare of the elders. A dance presentation was rendered by senior citizens from Maragondon prompting everybody to dance to the beat. Other surprise numbers included songs, harmonica playing and another dance presentation. Gifts from the officers of the Federation were raffled in addition to the other big items prepared for everyone. The oldest participant in the party, a centenarian aged 108 received cash gift.
